praying

i am aching for a dear friend today. she is the midst of a trial i would never had imagined. i am praying for her, for her children, for her husband, for everyone that will undoubtedly be affected.

i am finding this time that i am not just praying for God to "fix things" but praying for God to be glorified through all of it. He WILL be glorified.

i am also praying that the children that have yet to make a profession of faith in Christ as their Savior would come to know Him. that their hearts would be protected. because whatever hardships we face are for our good, if we are His children.

life is not always easy and sometimes it is terribly hard. i never want to minimize struggles and pain. i do however want to effectively intercede for my friend.

please pray for me, for my friend, for us to know God better through this.
