summer is beginning

God is doing something in me, with me, i'm not sure what.

my prayer is that my "yes, Lord" is sincere and lasting.  i want to go wherever He wants me to.
today is a slow day and i'm feeling the lack of structure.  He has shown me how dangerous idle time is for me.  i am praying for creativity and wisdom and perseverance as i work some discipline in my life.  i want to have lots of fun and rest, especially from the point of view of the kids.  but i know i can be intentional in HOW we have fun and when we stop to get work done.

somehow even all of this is working toward something.  i can feel it.  i can sense God saying, "this too is part of your training.  i have an amazing plan for you."

i believe Him.

big kids are at camp and the youngest is enjoying "only-child camp"....praying for pockets of time to get a game plan set....

Lord, please guide me in my thoughts and decisions as we seek to glorify you with our summer.
